The philosophy behind my practice
My logo reflects the vision with which I practise animal osteopathy on a daily basis. Each symbol that makes it up carries a strong meaning, connected to my approach to living beings, care and bodily balance.
The phi symbol, placed at the centre of the logo, refers to the philosophy of osteopathy, a discipline that holds an essential place in my practice. It embodies reflection, listening and a comprehensive understanding of the body and its mechanisms of adaptation.
The Djed pillar, a symbol from ancient Egypt, represents stability, rigour and grounding. Historically associated with the spine — sometimes called the "pillar of life" — it also echoes the importance of anatomical structures in the body's balance.
From an anatomical point of view, the combination of the phi and the Djed pillar evokes the organisation of the meninges within the spine. This representation illustrates a fundamental aspect of my practice: the Spinal Cord Traction Force (FTM), an essential concept in my understanding of the balance and mobility of living beings.
Through this symbolic union, my logo conveys a constant search for balance between stability and lightness, structure and movement, matter and energy. My vision of osteopathy is based on a comprehensive and complementary approach to the body. Articular, musculoskeletal, tissue-based, visceral, cranio-sacral, reflex and tensegrity approaches: each of these dimensions forms an integral part of my practice and is used according to the specific needs of each animal.
