Following SymbiOsteo 2 - the International Congress of Animal Osteopathy, held in 2022 at the Palais des Congrès in Lyon by the UFEOA, La Semaine Vétérinaire has published a new article devoted to the evolving relationship between vets and animal osteopaths.
This congress brought together numerous speakers across some thirty conferences covering the history of animal osteopathy, the current challenges facing the profession, as well as prospects for research and the discipline's development.
Representatives from professional bodies and the Conseil National de l'Ordre des Vétérinaires were also present, allowing for rich exchanges between the various stakeholders in the sector.
This article follows on from an initial publication released in 2019, entitled « Ostéopathie animale : point de tension », produced after the first edition of the congress. It offers an updated look at how dialogue and collaboration between the veterinary and animal osteopathy professions have developed over recent years.
