Alongside my studies in animal osteopathy, I wanted, from a very early stage, to actively contribute to the development and recognition of the profession. From my second year of studies, I joined the UFEOA (Union Française des Étudiants Ostéopathes Animaliers) in May 2017, before serving as its president from March 2018 to October 2020.
Throughout this involvement, I had the opportunity to represent students before various institutions and key players in animal health, notably the Conseil National de l’Ordre des Vétérinaires, the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, as well as several veterinary trade unions and technical associations.
Convinced that the future of animal health relies on a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, I worked to develop exchanges between the sector’s various professionals in order to foster dialogue, knowledge-sharing and complementarity of practices.
As part of this drive, I coordinated the organisation of SymbiOsteo in October 2019, the first congress dedicated to animal osteopathy. This event, hosted at the Sorbonne Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris, brought together nearly 500 participants for talks and discussions on the future and challenges of the discipline.
